The tones in the left image are really good and I like the double image setup. I feel like the right image is too dark compared to the one next to it so I just constantly drawn back to the first one. What did you shoot this on out of curiosity? was this 4x5?
Like I said earlier today, I really like both of these images, and I'm glad you put them together in a diptych. The expressions in both are good, and great subject, the small gap in his front teeth add to the image! Only thing I have to say is maybe bring back some of those blacks, maybe a little more detail in the hair would look good. That could just personal preference though!
I love these, you kept your concept simple, which is different from what else is posted on the blog, and I like that. you model is great and adds a bit of a comical touch they rock!
This is great! I agree with Jordynn about the second image being slightly "too" dark, creating not just a great deal of contrast within the image itself, but also in comparison to the first photograph, and the overall feel of the two together. Otherwise, the composition, idea, and simplicity are all amazing! - Rebecca Turner
I really like how simple they are but the message is strong. I agree with the one on the right being to dark compared to the one on the left which is very well lit. I love how he is out of focus on the left one though, makes it more interesting. Having the two pictures together is great too, love these! -Alison
You couldn't have found a more suiting model to be in your photo, really adds to the overall effect. I like the simplicity of both photos but that is what everyone is saying just thought you could hear it from one more person ahah, great job dude, A+
Awesome looking. Really sharp and engaging on the left and curious on the right. The work well together summing up that "induldgence to sick depression" that accompanies eating McDonalds. A little more headroom on the right? Good looking though.
i could agree with Jordynn - the one on the right may be a touch dark. This would be fine IF the light that hit his back hand (by his mouth) had hit his front hand (holding the food) since this is where the focus us. If this had happened, I wouldn't mind the darkness because the focus would be more illuminated, however the light on the back hand distracts a bit. Other than that small technicality, I like the idea and I like the black and white. Like the vignetting and I think the crop is good on both, not too far out but not too tight. Alex Gooding

I agree, the second image is too dark, as much as I like the contrast, my eyes more or less just go out of focus when I look at it.
