Nice concept! I definitely think the colour image has a lot more impact. The only thing i might change is just the fork at the bottom, i find it a little distracting. But other than that i really like it!
Colour for sure, looks awesome! I agree with the fork too you don't need it. Lighting looks great and I like the symmetry with the plate on the side of the photo too, draws your eye around since it looks like a mirrored object. -Alison
Ya I definitely like the colour one better! Makes the composition more interesting. I really like the angle you shot at too. And it looks really good with the fork edited out! Much cleaner.
I like it both with the fork in and gone. The reason I like the fork there is because the area it is in seems a little blown out so my eye wants to go to it and than it falls off. With the fork though it hits my eye back into the composition and keeps that from happening. Either way I like it best in colour as well. Maybe try to pull the highlights back just a little bit?
The colour seems a bit over-saturated to me. The image is okay. It looks like an image someone takes on their i-phone of their burger adn posts on facebook...I'm not sure it's a really good image but aesthetically people are drawn to it.

Now that you brought it to my attention, I agree with you. I will work on photoshopping it out!
