Alison Irwin, Fast Food Redo

Here is a completely different concept for my Fast Food shot. This is a place in Stratford that has been around forever, just wanted to capture how old school it was since a lot of people now a days are so caught up in the mainstream names like McDonald's & such. This brings is back to the roots of just enjoying quality fast food with the family & friends outside. Let me know what you think!

Amber Hartin - Theme 1 - Fast Food - Update

So here is my updated version of fast food. Basically just with more images to better emphasize the idea.

Abby Klages - Theme 1 - Fast Food (Take 2)

Here is a different concept than my last one. It was noted that my colours may have been to saturated on my first picture, so I have tried to keep the colours as natural as possible. I am not too sure how I feel about the photo but I am gonna give it a go.

Here is my old one, I adjusted the colours on it. I still like this one a lot more but I need to know people's opinions one which one!

Locrin Stewart Fast Food Redo

Hey all,
So as I said in my previous photo upload, I was disappointed with it. Then I got the idea to do this. For me, it's a commentary on the perception of females and feminism in today's society, as well as a commentary on the idea that "bigger is better" so prevalent in both the food / fast-food industry, and in the aforementioned. Feedback would be appreciated, but I'm pretty happy with where it's at for now.

Alison Irwin- Fast Food

Two separate photos. Please let me know what you think, went with a whole new idea with this one. Indulgence in the first one, & too pretty to eat in the second.

Amber Hartin - Fast Food

Basically I'm just trying to show the dual nature of fast food, both appealing and repulsive. I felt the best way to do this was to give a generally unbiased image of them but isolating them from any real context.  I'm not really finished with the idea yet. My intention is to maybe include more items but I'm not sure yet. What do ya'll think? I do realize I need to tone down some of the highlights.

Alison Irwin

With the first one I tried to show what the food really looks like versus what they show in advertisements and such (since in ads burgers are shown as very clean cut and no mess, in other words extremely appetizing and this is not what you get when you order). Then with the second one I was intrigued by the blank stare. This is showing that eating fast food is mindless, in the sense that if you are in a hurry the last thing you want to do is wait for food and you don't think about what it does to you. Please let me know what you think, up in the air on these.
