Hey all,
So as I said in my previous photo upload, I was disappointed with it. Then I got the idea to do this. For me, it's a commentary on the perception of females and feminism in today's society, as well as a commentary on the idea that "bigger is better" so prevalent in both the food / fast-food industry, and in the aforementioned. Feedback would be appreciated, but I'm pretty happy with where it's at for now.
Everything looks great! I Like the composition, subject matter, and colour. Only thing I can think of is backing away from the wall a bit to get rid of that slight shadow detail near her arms and legs. Those are just nitpicks though. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot - the concept, light, composition, everything!

Very Cool one Locrin, I like the concept and I like that you actually explained your vision. The only thing that I can think of is that it's smak dab in the center and feels like its missing out on either having the subject moved.
ReplyDeletei love your message! especially the bigger is better because it's so true with fast food. i like how natural the lighting looks, it doesn't take away from your model. the only thing i would change is the shadow on the left side, it's a bit too dark! but other then that great shot locrin!

I really love the colours and the lighting. The colour of the jeans vs. her skin is gorgeous! I think you can clone out the little bit of hair at her shoulder. Other than that it looks good.

love this shot - and the idea is brilliant! very true and i think you did a great job portraying it! I would agree with Lucy on that bit of hair though - a tad bit distracting! And I think I prefer having the bit of shadows on her arms etc as I feel it grounds her a bit. Great idea and shot! Alex Gooding
ReplyDeletethis makes me love it , Tim's i love you.

ReplyDeleteNot sure this is working as a commentary....to me it actually just reads like a sexy shot of a girl with cups on her boobs. Makes me think you are saying her boobs are like lattes. To make a critique I think you need to do more with context, pose and clothing.
