I love the idea Chelsey, I like the set up and the light through the crack in the door. I'd take out your reflection in the mirror behind you and maybe get your model to look away from the camera (her face doesn't have to move, just the eyes). I say this because your position on her is a possessive one, and if her eyes are looking away (symbolizing vulnerability etc) will reinforce this and add even more depth to the pic. wow, i feel like that was pretty deep of me LOL but yeah, jusstt a suggestion!
I love this. I would have just liked to seen more fabric draped over the side of the bed or have the arm go over the side more or something. I only say this because its very hard (for me anyways) to distinguish where the edge of the bed is. For me, it looks like the bed starts out of the frame and continues on giving the illusion of a GIANT bed and also makes the table look like its on the bed which is just strange furniture arrangement. If you wanted too you could have pulled back a tab bit on the left to include the whole lamp and more of the books, but I honestly really don't mind it that much. Amazing. Good job.
I love the tattoos and how they are kinda matching, I love the simplicity of it, because the photo says a lot on its own. the fact that the door open kinda makes me think that you guys aren't hiding anything and have no shame and thats awesome. also great lighting
Love it, Chelsey. Agreed on the reflection in the mirror. If you can't photoshop it out, maybe try shooting from a slightly different angle, as opposed to straight on... like from the right on a bit of a diagonal. -alex h
First off, fucking awesome! I love the concept! the only thing i see that would make this even more bad ass, is a tight crop on you two, its a beautiful photograph. getting the lap and night table cropped out I think would make it stronger. besides that i so dig it.
