| Joseph Hammond, Theme #1, Fast Food Hey Everyone! K so I got the idea for this image from the T.V show Supernatural. I wanted to create an image comparable to a production still on set. Basically the image is based off a scene where a man becomes so hungry he sticks his hands in the deep frier to get at the food. There's no actual still available from the scene to reference so I composed this image myself. |

very Interesting work Joe, it seems very convicting. I have to agree with the Previous comment on pulling out a bit however, overall I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so intense and scary Joe! I think maybe try to make his shirt stand out a bit more, it's kind of blending into the background. And try pulling back on the green tones.

Great Job Joseph... I like the concept. Yes I would agree with other people's comments about pulling back a little, so that his arms aren't cropped. Also the smoke confuses me a bit. Is that from his skin burning? Usually deep frying doesn't smoke like that. I find it a bit distracting, especially in front of his face. Maybe it might help give the impression of hot oil if you showed the oil itself, rather than smoke? Just a thought.

ReplyDeleteThe image reads a bit cheesy to me...it feel a lot like a still from a low budget TV show which I suppose is what you're going for. In that case I suppose you have done it well...though it feels almost like a parody which is not your intention.
