Hey all, well my intention was way off however, I came up with this one last minute. The idea was family at Ryerson's IMA. I couldn't get all staff but It turned out. Any suggestions for a next time better shoot would be greatly appreciated.

  1. This photo is awesome, I love how dysfunctional it is, and how everyones kind of doing their own thing, I also love how you shot it with 4x5, the black and white looks great! make sure you get the whole dysfunction of them next time! its funny!

  2. I love this a lot, still gives the idea with family but a very creative way to convey it. Good job Geo! :)

  3. Mindy is a babe.
I love the spontaneity of this, how everyone is sort of caught in an act and don't look severely posed. If you do a reshoot, my only suggestion would be (as Alex always says) to pull away a little bit, and then based on the body shapes that are made, crop the image afterwards to best suit it. (The crop for THIS particular shot, though, looks perfect).

  4. This looks really awesome, and I love how you got our faculty involved. Next time I would definitely light their faces a bit more, perhaps more dynamic coloured clothing, and make sure their props aren't blocking their faces.

  5. haha love this idea! i actually like how you have more negative space on the right side, throws off the balance a bit which is cool. i agree with lucy, having jordynn's face being blocked is a little distracting because she's in the centre of it all but i think it works for (michelle?) just because it's a camera and having her sort of peek out behind it is fitting

  7. It's a charming, funny photograph but it doesn't go much deeper than that. More like a nice snap for your scrap book.
