So I decided to do a whole different take on family, I chose to do a 'colour family' .
I chose the warm colour family & gathered some old (warm coloured...reds, yellows, and oranges) items of mine up and tried to arrange them in a pleasing manner .
Comments always welcome .

It reminds me of the 'thingsorganizedneatly' blog(s) and I love it! The different tones of the same hues work really great in contrast to another.

I love the direction you took on this one! i like that it is organized but you have bigger and smaller objects that make it really stand out. How you executed it with the colours/circle background is really need. I would add a little more depth to the objects just so each one of them stand out, but overall great photo, so unique!

I agree with alison my eye is begging for something just one thing to really really stand out to me. I like it though, good job.

Agreed on all comments above, love the sort of retro vibe going on here.
ReplyDeleteI love the choice of objects you have. I feel like they even represent family as well due to the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteThe warm colours are a nice touch as well.

I agree with Michelle. These objects all represent family to me. The fact that they all coordinate so nicely is a bonus. If you wanted to go further with that concept you could even try incorporating objects from other family members, like a nail polish in a similar pallete, screwdriver with warm toned handle, etc etc. But its also nice like this.
