Kristina Smith - Novelty

For me, a novelty is something that you have and don't often use, something you have mostly for the sake of having.


I got this toy in elementary school, and it was the coolest thing.  


If anyone doesn't recognize or know what it is, it's this balancing bird toy that balances on it's beak.

Cosmos Theme - Kristina Smith

So I have 3 photos, I'm not exactly sure which one to choose ..


If anyone could let me know which of the 3 they do/don't like I'd appreciate it !

1)  Here's my train of thought for this one : Cosmos->universe->stars->(then I was at a    cemetery last weekend and it reminded me of stars and the universe)->cemetery


This photo is a composite of 14 photos that I put together, because this was a giant tree .
Not sure if it really fits the theme though .

2)  Idea: space age / futuristic leader portrait .

3)  crazy (kind of creepy) alien / space creature caught in the light / the unknown / an unknown creature .

High School

One of the many things people do in high school is drugs; I know at my high school there were plenty of people who got into drugs and after numerous ideas for high school I decided on this as my final one .

I don't know much about drugs , but I do know that it was/is/probably always will be quite popular - especially with the start of it a lot of time being in high school . I went for the idea of someone washing away the guilt or about to hide the evidence of their drugs from someone that may not know they're into them at all . 

Thoughts always welcome .

Kristina Smith - Theme #2 - FAMILY

So I decided to do a whole different take on family, I chose to do a 'colour family' .

I chose the warm colour family & gathered some old (warm coloured...reds, yellows, and oranges) items of mine up and tried to arrange them in a pleasing manner .

Kristina Smith - Fast Food

I'm trying to represent an old fashioned diner kind of style in my photo with the background pattern and colours.  The idea is that the coupons are framed and important, relating to how today people do lots of things to save money, one being use coupons on already cheap fast food. Thoughts & the like are welcome.

Ok, so with the comments from the first image (^^^^above^^^^) I've fixed a few things .. here are the new photos, I think I'm not leaning towards the one with less of a crop (the first one below) .
I'm not one hundred percent sure though .
(things I changed: I fixed a little bit of distortion in the frame, de-saturated just a tinytiny bit, and there is a different crop)
