Rebecca Turner - High School - redo

On the surface, my high school experience was amazing.
At the same time, I spent each day in a constant battle with myself.
We've all hidden something, but when it's everything, it gets exhausting.

Ideas ? Alterations ? Issues ? Thanks .
Yes, it's a wig

Rebecca Turner - Novelty

Novelty, in my mind, could only be connected to novelty toys. The toys you once pulled from the magic chest at Swiss Chalet, or received from that strange neighbour on your street on Halloween night. To me these toys had no use or value, but had such meaning at the time. They were unique and different and that was all that was cool about them; just like the doll in this image. I had to have this voodoo doll, absolutely had to have it. But it's useless! It's kind of too cute to stab, and yeah, I did rip it's heart off a while back but... it's still just a stupid useless toy...
(probably going to reshoot, but I loved the light and couldn't not take the shot)

Rebecca Turner - Cosmos

I remember trying to take a picture of a moon a couple of years ago. Such a white blob of a disaster. So this time around I thought about cosmic life in terms of the "unknown", aka, extraterrestrials. Something about the pale skin and red lip, the blankness in the stare, made me feel like this was unearthly.

So here ya go. Pretty sure I'm better off just using one image, but let me know what you think.

Rebecca Turner - High School

Pretty self explanatory, whether it was our own emotions, or those of someone close to us.
High school was, for me, an amazing four years. But no matter how many great friends and fun events surround you, darkness always exists.

Any advice would be seriously appreciated !
In the mean time I'm going to learn how to write the letter A better...

Rebecca Turner - Family

Family to me isn't about who you eat dinner with, or who raised you. It's not just about love but about hate as well. Family is about the pain you put one another through, and how regardless, these people will always support you, in sickness or in health.
I think we all got over the whole 'selective colour' thing in elementary school... but it gave me the feeling of like... "when everything else fades to grey, there is always a little colour to be found somewhere". Let me know if you think getting rid of colour entirely would be better !

I feel like the images in the locket are a little too blunt, but I'm not sure what would make more sense. And yes, I understand my arm looks like the arm of an 80 year old ;)

Rebecca Turner - Fast Food

Because death is just as convenient.
Any suggestions are seriously appreciated !
