Rebecca Turner - Cosmos

I remember trying to take a picture of a moon a couple of years ago. Such a white blob of a disaster. So this time around I thought about cosmic life in terms of the "unknown", aka, extraterrestrials. Something about the pale skin and red lip, the blankness in the stare, made me feel like this was unearthly.

So here ya go. Pretty sure I'm better off just using one image, but let me know what you think.

  1. I love the second one. its totally in your face! the first one seems too busy.

  2. I agree with Geo, definitely like the second one best. But I kind of like the photo where you can see her face straight on also! Maybe try doing a diptych of the images on their own? But great work! Very creative idea :)

  3. i think the first is stronger, it has more of an abstract field. rather than a single subject you have to contextualize both of the people in the photo. maybe try to clean up the overlapping of the 2 though, the line is quite hard. but i like it!!

I'm finding the white sheet distracting.
