I think of novelty as a form of small amusement that can be represented by a trinket-like object. I decided on the use rings because of there lack of purpose, only to be used for there looks. I played with the levels and lighting so let me know your thoughts!
It might just be me but the photo seems a bit on the warm side. It may just be the over colour palette but maybe try cooler it down and see how it looks? Also, I think pulling back would be nice. - Abby
ReplyDeleteI think this is a touch warm, also the placing of the rings is weird to me, because I have never seen a two finger ring on the pinky finger so it seems awkward and set-up
ReplyDelete^ the warmth of it definitely should get some alteration done to it, silver products are usually on the blue side so immediately this image is weakened by that. I think the idea is there, as mentioned in your text about rings having a lack of purpose, but I know if you give yourself a few extra moments, you can definitely improve the angles and composition of this shot!

I agree with everything that was sad here. Also, this is just a bit of a picky thing but the rings in the bottom right corner (they look like drama masks) I would have them facing or turned toward the camera a little more. I also feel like this is really tight and you should pull out a bit.
