I was thinking about Robyn's comment about trying this as a landscape, and I figure that with more on both sides the cars in the lot and houses in the background could get distracting. Have you thought about shooting this at a different time of day where the lot is emptier and the lighting is different, perhaps at dusk or dawn ?

I think a little less of the vignetting would help make the photo seem so closed in and let it breathe a bit more. -Abby
