Amber Hartin - Fast Food
Basically I'm just trying to show the dual nature of fast food, both appealing and repulsive. I felt the best way to do this was to give a generally unbiased image of them but isolating them from any real context. I'm not really finished with the idea yet. My intention is to maybe include more items but I'm not sure yet. What do ya'll think? I do realize I need to tone down some of the highlights.
I like the idea but I think the fry container takes away from it though. I would have liked to see just the gross-ness of all the ingredients just isolated by themselves without the container. Also, it may be cool to mash them all together? in one giant messy pile? The napkin behind the container is also distracting so maybe try taking it out.

I think you should keep working with the idea that you already have, adding any more items will take away from being able to get any kind of msg across. Also, i know you're not done but try taking out the wrinkles in the middle one :)

ReplyDeleteI think this would just benefit from more images (though I know you may not have time for this particular assignment). The middle one seems un-necessary...why is it in the fry container? I think just the strange shapes and grossness of the others is enough.
