  1. Nice job! I would be interested in seeing what it would look like maybe turned 90 clockwise to make it landscape and the burger in the left corner with the dark spot balancing it out in the right. I think it looks really good this way too though just a sugguestion.

  2. I think the idea is really cool, and I like how there's perspective to this picture. Buuutt I do feel like it's a bit cluttered, and I personally don't mind the hamburger bun or the orientation of the picture, but I feel like those 2 black things (no idea what they are) give the picture too much of a random burst of contrast

  3. The black things are bit of the burger, but I will re edit to try and bring back some of the detail in them. As far as the composition goes, I have tried it both ways but settled mostly on orienting it vertically. This didn't particularly turn out how I was hoping it might, but I will try a couple different things and see if anything works out better.
Thanks for the ideas, anything else I should look at?

  4. Maybe have a bite out of the burger or half eaten fries or something? Only saying that because it sort of looks like its the aftermath of lunch of something yet none of the food is eaten? It might add to the messyness as well. Just a thought. :)

  5. This looks really good! I would just darken some of the details like in the sauce splatters because you lose some of it with the high contrast lighting. Great positive and negative space though! I like the chaotic mess of it.

  6. The only thing I'd change is move the larger objects into the frame more. The objects to the left are just exiting, and the bun is touching the frame but not that cut off. I'd either move that one out a bit more or completely in. My eyes tend to focus on the blank space in the middle instead of the actual mess. Try a different crop and see how it looks!

  7. It makes me feel sad that you didn't eat any of it. The way everything ended up looks unrehearsed and that gives it authenticity. The little patch of clean white space in the middle has a nice effect. More colour? Zoom out? Nice job.
