i remember these! aha. i love the pastel colours like abby said great colour palette, even with your nail being the same colour as the background. love the execution of it with the big white border too. how you placed it makes it feel like you are going into the photo. great job kristi! -Alison
I really love how your post text matches your image. Moving forward... haha... my only suggestion is to (in post) dodge the left side of the hand, as it is darker than the rest of your image and begins to distract the eye from the intended focal point. Love the colours !
i really like your style Kristi. you've used this type of border I think in visual studies (or something similar? I believe it was you!) even if it wasn't, I think you use it well. the colour palette is very calming however i do agree with becky about the dark shadow. I wouldn't dodge it as that often does some funky things with pixelating (at least for me) but maybe do a levels mask and just open up and lighten that shadow a little bit (not a lot, otherwise I feel it will be flat) but i think the shadow could be a hint lighter and would improve the image :) great idea
